Galactic Intruders

A 2D Space Arcade Shooter.

Primary Game Modifications:
- New weapon type + functionality: The Missile
- New HUD (New animations, High Score effects, etc.)
- Added "Coins" enabling other means of acquiring points
- Added "Bosses" which are enhanced, more difficult enemies
- Enhanced Background: tiled/wrapped background with parallax

Minor Game Modifications:
- Instructions screen revamped to be specific to game modifications
- Visual lives indicator
- High Score added to menu & pause screens
- Modified how the High Score updates itself internally and visually so it's smoother to animate
- Added a gentle glow to enemy projectiles so they're easier to see

Use "Left Click" on your mouse to fire your main weapon. Pressing "Space" fires missiles at a much slower fire-rate. Win condition is defeating all enemies in the level. Levels will progressively get more difficult (especially the last one). Good luck!
